CANCELLACTION POLICY

Here at Divine Rides we our cancellation policy includes a grace period (often 24 hours) for cancellations without fees, and a fee for cancellations within that period, or for no-shows, to cover costs like driver assignment and vehicle allocation. 

Here’s a more detailed breakdown of our companies cancellation policy for our company:

1. Grace Period:

• We offer a grace period, usually within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time, during which clients can cancel without incurring any fees.
• This allows clients to cancel if they need to reschedule or if their appointment is canceled, without financial repercussions. 

2. Cancellation Fees:

• If a client cancels outside the grace period or fails to show up for the scheduled transport, the company can charge a cancellation fee. 
• The fee is typically a percentage of the total trip cost, or a fixed amount, to cover costs like driver preparation, vehicle allocation, and lost revenue. 
• We may charge a percentage of the base rate of the booked ride 

3. Exceptions:

• We often have provisions for exceptions to the cancellation policy, such as in cases of sudden medical emergencies or other valid reasons.
• Clients should be encouraged to contact the company immediately if they need to cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance, so that a suitable solution can be found. 

4. Communication:

• Clients should be encouraged to notify the company as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule their transportation service.
• This helps the company manage its resources efficiently and potentially minimize any inconvenience to other clients. 

5. Refunds:

• If a cancellation fee applies, it will be deducted from any prepaid amount or billed accordingly. 
• If the company cancels the trip due to circumstances beyond its control, it should provide a full refund.

• We may have a 24-hour grace period for cancellations without a fee. 
• Cancellations within 24 hours could incur a 50% cancellation fee. 
• In cases of a no-show, the full trip cost might be charged.
